Course Content

Introduction to Make-Up Artistry students will cover comprehensive training and extensive practical experience in the following areas:

• Skincare & Skin Analysis: cleansing and toning, moisturising and priming techniques. Choosing the correct products specific for your skin type and condition
• Daytime make-up
• Evening makeup
• Special Occasion makeup
• Creating a flawless base; priming, concealing and correcting, selecting and applying foundation correctly
• Highlighting and contouring
• Eyeliner techniques
• Lips; lip liner, lipstick and lip gloss application, correcting the lip shape, how to select the correct products and shades to suit your skin tone
• Perfecting eyebrows using a variety of methods
• False Lash application; strip and individual eyelashes
• Working with different make-up mediums
• How often to change your make up products and how to apply makeup hygienically
• Cosmetic product knowledge
